How does the reward process work? |

A cash reward is only available when the information a caller provides to Delaware Crime Stoppers of Central results in an arrest.
The information callers provide to us is forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Investigators tell us if the information was used to identify and/or lead to the felony arrest of the suspect(s) in their case.
Callers have six (6) months from the date of the arrest(s) made as a result of their information to claim their reward. Rewards not claimed within six (6) months are forfeited.
Information that is already known to the investigators will not qualify for a reward. Reward amounts are based on several factors including, but not limited to; seriousness of the crime, number of arrests made, number of cases cleared, and value of property and/or illegal narcotics recovered.
